Accessories - Schuco accessory numbers 6333/1 to 6333/72 will be found here - track, pylons, switches, etc.
WOW, just like that all of my sets and loose monorails are sold. I hope you weren’t putting it off to purchase one? I still have a good supply of accessories including pylons and switches. And don’t forget to check out the accessory specials which are good until Disneyland’s 71st birthday on July 17th which is coming up quicker than you think.
I have sold close to 500 pieces of track in 2025, but I still have over 200 in stock. I won’t sell brass track unless it is clean. I have also simplified how I sell track. There is going to be one price no matter the quantity purchased. The only time I really ever sold a lot of track at once was when I offered the “One Mile Layout” special. A note here is that I have not raised prices of track for over 20 years. In fact, in 1998 I listed track at $16 each!!! I’m putting it at $9 each today. You don’t see track listed much any more on Ebay, so it may be getting to the point where it is not as available as it has been in the past. I have not yet been able to buy clean track from someone. The closest exception is if I end up buying my own track from years ago and now it is being resold! Cleaning track is tedious and time consuming, but the results are worth the effort. You need clean track in order to have a successful operating layout. I can’t promise that every brass track you purchase from me will look new, but it will be clean and useable.
Over the years I have accumulated a lot of parts, mostly from collections. I have no desire to hoard these. My goal is to share them with the Schuco Disneyland monorail community. I’ve lowered the price of several parts to make them very affordable. Please stock up now on spare parts!!! I do put limits on some of the parts because I want them to be spread around the world, not just in three or four households. However, if you really need a lot of one part, please email me, and we will work something out.
Let’s talk about the Perfect track cleaner/eraser. For sure they are no longer being made, and they are my "go to" tool when I am cleaning tracks. I’m buying them up as I can find them, but am not able to purchase them in quantities of fifty or more as I used to in the past. That means buying from several different places and paying shipping several times. All in all, that drives up my total price, and I am going to limit how many you can buy at once. Get them while you can!
Understand that I am primarily a collector/operator of the Schuco Disneyland monorails. Selling items is a way for me to pay for items I like to keep in my collection and to pay for trips for me to display the monorails at various shows around the USA. I look at what I do as a hobby, not as a business. I couldn’t make a living doing this, for sure. Most people do not realize the costs of driving to shows, paying for tables, staying at hotels, and buying food, etc. One of my goals is to keep this hobby running, and the only way to do that is to restore existing monorails. I would never be able to reimburse myself for all the hours it takes to accomplish this. Another goal is to introduce and share the hobby with others so they may enjoy it, too! Thus the reason I travel to shows around the USA. I’ve been doing this for over 30 years now!
With that said, this website is fairly simple. You won’t find shopping carts, etc. You can find what you like and send me an email. My email address is trainfool@aol.com. I will make sure the items you want are still available, then send you an invoice. You can pay with PayPal, a personal check, a money order, or cash. PayPal is my preferred choice of payment. It is easy and very safe, and I can send you an official PayPal invoice for your records. PayPal protects you so you can shop with no risk! I do ask that you, as a buyer, have a confirmed address with PayPal or be a verified buyer. We can work all this out after you decide what you would like to purchase. My goal is to make it easy, safe, and fun. After all, this is just a hobby and it should not cause any stress!
Over the years, the thing that I have seen increase the most is NOT the monorails, but shipping and insurance. Let me share an experience with you. I shipped (May 12, 2025) a set USPS ground in the United States and it cost $115. The box cost $10 and I used $12 of bubble wrap. I have no desire to make a profit with shipping and usually just charge the cost the courier charges me. I never charge for labor to pack the items (it takes me up to three hours to pack a S set), or to take the package to the post office or FedEx building. My preference is to send parts and accessories via USPS Priority and sets via FedEx ground. Most parts and accessories can be sent in the USA for around $25 or less. As you have read, sets can cost over $100 to ship in the USA. If you are getting very small parts such as reproduction wheels or track pins, I can mail those in small flat rate boxes, so shipping costs would be much cheaper. USPS now insures items up to $100 automatically when using Priority and Ground Advantage mail, and it also includes tracking. Insurance will be purchased for items totaling over $100. All prices are listed in US dollars.
I will ship internationally, but my experience is that the cost to do so is sometimes extremely expensive. Shipping small parts can be as much as $50 and sets can range anywhere from $95 to $300!!! PLUS, you may get hit with custom's fees, tariffs, etc. All of these are your responsibility to pay. I will always send with some kind of insurance, IF available, and will have to fill out all of those custom forms honestly. I will try to send internationally with some kind of tracking service. In November of 2024, I sent a six pound package to Sweden and it cost $289. At that time, I could actually purchase a round trip ticket for myself to Stockholm for $392!!! I am not a fan of international shipping, but if you are willing to cover the expense and risk, I will do it. Consider making a vacation trip to Colorado, and we will arrange for you to pick up your items. I can make a trip to the airport!
Finally, for conditions of items I use the TCA (Train Collectors’ Association) grading system which will be found on all four of the pages you can navigate to from here. Grading is often opinion, but it gives you a gauge. I tend to downgrade more than upgrade. Most items have a guarantee or can be returned within 14 days of receiving the item. Again, this is a hobby, the less stress for you and me, the better!
Thanks for visiting my website, and I hope you enjoy this hobby as much as I do!
